Incredible story of a 16 years old boy who was jailed for 25years over GH¢10
16 years old boy, one Abdullah Muhammed, had been sentenced to 25 years in prison for stealing GH¢10. He is to serve his sentence in an adult prison, Kumasi Central Prison. He has been released after spending 11 years out of 25 years he was sentenced to. The boy who is now 27 years, was released from jail on September 22, 2020 after appealing on his favour was granted. Following his testimony, he said he became aware of his release from a fellow inmates who has an access to social media, who had informed him about it. He also added that when the show became trendy on social media and in jail, he started receiving different visitors also from human right organisation. He also informed a correspondence that his mother was accused of being behind the trendy publication.
