As we all know that Eid-El- Kabir is a season that is very important to all our Muslims brothers and sisters just as Christmas is to the Christians. Every here and there, we can see that Nigerians are in total readiness for this festival despite pandemic. In my own opinion, I know that the government can't do very much in preventing people from coming together to celebrate this season; but let the government have it in readiness to put a lockdown after the celebration so as to also contained the spread of the virus after celebration. Federal Government makes a surprising revelation, says Nigerian scholarship students turn beggars in UK The Federal Government as appealed to the sponsor, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to urgently remit their allowances, tuition and other incentives of such students.

The list that has names of Senators and the House of Representatives members that are involved in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, contracts has surfaced. The Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio Akpabio who submitted the names to the National Assembly committees that are probing the activities of the commission last Thursday. The list that was part of a letter the Minister has sent to the National Assembly also copied the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami. Nevertheless, following the  failure of the lawmakers to read out the part of the letter that included the names, the National Youth Council of Nigeria has presented the document to the media in Abuja later on Sunday. According to Akpabio’s letter, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has been involved in 53 projects, while also Senator Nicholas Mutu’s name has appeared 74 in projects. The Abia state police command has arrested a 17-year-old boy who is identified as Jessy Enogwe for planning to stage a kidnapping of a 75-year-old man in his community. The indigene of Egbede Osisioma Ngwa LGA of Abia State who was arrested on July 21 had used his father's phone to send out threat messages to his victim, asking him to bring him the sum of N50,000 to a certain location or risk being kidnapped and paying the sum of N2m as ransom.  It was further learnt that the septuagenarian has notified SARS operatives of the threat text right before fleeing the village out of fear. Enogwe was subsequently arrested after the report was made.                                       

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested the rest of two persons involved in the dehumanizing treatment meted out on a female suspect seen at the home of a suspected armed robber and kidnapper.   According to the video of the men harassing the lady went viral on Wednesday, July 22. For two days now that the residents of Ejigbo had been in a total blackout without any news of when the power will be restored.                                               Few days ago, according to the report we were able to gather, a worker of the 5G worker who were hired to dig the ground where the 5G fibres will pass through has seriously damage one of the underground "33" cables in Ejigbo. The popular Lekki Pastor, Apostle Chris Omashola, who is the head of  the Zionwealth Church was Saturday afternoon involved in a ghastly motor accident in Warri. The accident, that occurred at about 3pm took place around a flyover, opposite Delta Mall, Warri in Delta State Close relatives to the pastor had confirmed the development noted  that Omashola, who is also a Public Relations expert was driving alone in a Toyota Camry, when the incident happened.                                              Although the extent of the injury he sustained was not ascertain as at the time of this report, it was gathered that Omashola has been rushed to Skyphon Medical Centre, along Refinery Road, Warri for emergency medical attention. The last time we reported was how a Deaconess had wickedly tortured a child she had adopted and later made her her house maid. This time it is another report of how a woman had senselessly beating up a child to the point that he is carrying the marks of cane she used in beating him to that extent. According to the Twitter poster who shared the news, he posted how the woman's husband had stayed behind and watch how his wife wickedly beats him up to that level that he now carried the severe marks of the cane as a prove of how she pour her anger to torture him that way.
