‌Shoprite, Africa’s biggest food retailer, is planning to exit the Nigerian market after posting continuous decline in sales from its operations in the west African country. The megastore company with presence in virtually all states in Nigeria hinged this decision on the coronavirus pandemic which has disrupted major businesses globally. This was contained in the company’s “Operational and Voluntary Trading Update (52 Weeks Ended 28 June 2020)” released on Monday. MOUAU Vice Chancellor cleared of sexual harassment allegation by female staff Prof Francis Otunta, the Vice Chancellor of  Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State has been cleared of a sexual harassment allegation levelled against him by a female staff of the institution identified as Dr Patricia Mbah.  Dr Patricia Mbah was accused of launching a vendetta against the institution's VC after being disciplined according to the University's rules over an alleged misconduct.  A statement released by the Institution's Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs Jacinta N.
