Man stabbed his landlord to death in Anambra State

  One 21 years old Onyeamachi Mmaju has been arrested by the Anambra police men on Tuesday, October 6 after he was alleged to have stabbed his landlord to death. According to the deceased family who shared to sudden death of one Okpole, that was found in the pool of his own blood and was later rushed to one Iyi Enu Mission hospital Ogidi where he was confirmed dead by a doctor. After investigation, it was revealed that the deceased had previously before his death had a little misunderstanding with his tenant, Onyeamachi over too many women him Onyeamachi brings into the compound, that was the cause of their arguments that later led to his death. The social user who shared the news on social media also share the lifeless body of Okpole inside the pool of his own blood. The suspect is in the police custody together with the knife he used to stabbed him as an evidence against him. See photos:

Gay pedophile arrested for raping his neighbor’s son

A 28-year-old pedophile has been arrested for raping his neighbor’s 13 years old son at Bayan Ganuwa Yakubu Wanka Gombe road, Bauchi, Bauchi State. The incident happened around 11a.m on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Yusuf Yakubu had lured the boy to his house and forcefully had anal-sexual intercourse with him.  Policemen were later drafted to the scene and the victim was taken to General Hospital, Bauchi for medical treatment. The suspect has confessed to the crime.

Two friends arrested for allegedly gang raping 17yrs girl in Jigawa state

  Two men have been arrested by Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State Command, for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl. The men were identified as Abubakar Usman (18yrs) and Ya’u Sa’idu (20yrs) both of Gidan Ruwa Quarters, Kazaure LGA. This was made known in a statement released by the spokesperson of the command, Adamu Shehu, who stated that the two friends connived and gained unlawful entry into the family house of the victim on Wednesday, 9th September 2020 around 4am. ”They met her asleep in her room with her two sisters. They tied her hands up, covered her mouth and forcefully had canal knowledge of her. It was during the struggle that her sister woke up and raised alarm which made them to take to their heels. Sad as a 14-year-old girl raped to death in Ogun

  A 14-year-old secondary school pupil, Fathia Ojewoye, has been raped to death at the Agbeloba-Oriyonrin area of Abeokuta, Ogun State. The teenager had on Wednesday been declared missing by her parents, but her corpse was found three days after with some of her personal effects in an uncompleted building in the area. When our correspondent visited the residence of the deceased’s mother, who had separated from her husband, sympathisers were seen consoling her. When attempted to speak to her, she asked to be left alone. She, however, vowed to ensure that the killer(s) of Fathia, whom she gave birth to while in secondary school, was brought to justice. A source in the area told our correspondent that Fathia was sent on an errand by her mother to refill the gas cylinder around the area, but she did not return home.   Police officers in Anambra state have arrested a 47-year-old man identified as Emeka Ezimadu, for allegedly killing two of his own children, his 85-year-old mother, and inflicting injuries on three other children at Okpuneze Uruagu in Nnewi North local government area of State on Thursday, September 17. The state police command spokesperson, SP Haruna Mohammed, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the suspect allegedly went berserk, attacked, and killed two of his biological children, 9-year-old Ifechukwu Ezimadu, 2-year-old Ezimadu, and his 85-year-old mother, Agnes Ezimadu, with a cutlass while they were sleeping. Haruna said the suspect also used the cutlass to injure three other children namely Nonso Ezimadu 12, Chinaemerem Ezimadu 11, and Ngozi Ezimadu 8. “Meanwhile, police detectives visited the Scene and rushed victims to the Akwudo hospital for medical attention where the two children and the aged mother were certified dead by a medical doctor while the three other children

62-year-old woman and daughters arrested for allegedly stealing a baby

  Police on Wednesday, September 16, arrested a 62-year-old woman Margret Kabaziguruka and her two daughters, Doreen Kyapaire, 29, and Oliver Kyasimire, 20, for allegedly stealing a two month old baby girl in Uganda. It was gathered that on September 10, under unclear circumstances, Kyasimire, travelled from Lyantonde and headed to Kabale district. Upon reaching there, she went straight to the home of one Felix Naturinda, and Doreen Twakyire located in Butorane village, Buhara Sub-County, Kabale district, claiming she came to check on them. However, at around 8pm, Kyasimire carried the baby and claimed she was going to buy airtime at a nearby shop, but never came back. The couple said that they waited patiently but all in vain.   Suspected serial killer, Sunday Shodipe has narrated how he escaped from Mokola Police Station in Ibadan, Oyo State on Tuesday August 18.  Speaking to newsmen on Sunday August 23, Shodipe said the opportunity to escape from police custody came from police negligence.  The notorious suspect said;   "The new female DPO asked officer Funsho to allow me take my bath. He cautioned me not to try to escape when I am taking my bath.  "I escaped when I saw him discussing with another person. I climbed the borehole pole and jumped the fence.   A 27-year-old man, Abdullahi Salisu, who allegedly assaulted a 100-year-old woman, on Tuesday appeared in an Ile-Ife, Osun State Magistrates’ Court. The Prosecution Counsel, Insp. Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Augut 16, 2020 around 3.45PM at Sabo, Ile-Ife. Osanyintuyi alleged that the defendant and others, who are at large, attacked Bintu Adamu and inflicted injuries on her forehead. He alleged that the defendant also assaulted a housewife, Mrs. Uman Adamu, 20. The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections 355 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Osun, 2020. The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to three counts of conspiracy, assault and causing hurt. The Defence Counsel, Mr. Leke Dada, pleaded for bail for the defendant in most liberal terms. Two Islamic teacher bags 22 years imprisonment for raping four female students

  A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Minna, Niger State, on Monday August 17, sentenced two brothers, Hassan Bilyaminu and Abdullahi Biliyaminu, who are Islamic clerics, to 22 years imprisonment for raping four girls who were students in their Islamic school in Minna, the state capital.   The suspects were arrested earlier this month and were dragged to the court by the police on two counts charges which include sexual assault and act of gross indecency.    According to the First Information Report (FIR) which was read in court by the Police Prosecutor, Sergeant Bello Mohammed, the offenses committed by the suspects were punishable under Section 285 of the penal code law, as well as Section 19 (2) of the Child’s Right Law of Niger State, 2010.   The charge sheet read “That on the 2nd of August, 2020, one Lawal Idris of Tudun Nasira Area of Maitumbi in Minna, represented three others, and reported that on 31st of July, 2020, you Hassan Bilyaminu and Abdullahi Bilyamiu lured four of the

  A National Diploma 2 student of the Auchi Polytechnic, Nicholas Victor, has accused some policemen attached to the Kogi State Police Command of extorting money from him because he owns two phones. Victor said he was on his way to Auchi on August 4, 2020 to collect his National ID card when the policemen, who were at a checkpoint at the Okene area of Kogi State, stopped the driver of the bus he was travelling in. He explained that the policemen ordered all the male passengers out of the bus and started checking their phones. The 22-year-old noted that while all the other passengers paid various sums, the officers refused to release him despite offering them N4,200. He said the officers insisted on a bigger sum because he had two phones, adding that his mother was forced to transfer N70,000 into the bank account of one of the officers, identified as John Eshiobugie.   A 50-year-old old home teacher, Uzor Anthony, is in trouble for allegedly defiling a six-year-old girl. He was apprehended by the police for allegedly defiling the little girl he was teaching at her parents’ home in the Olodi Apapa area of Lagos. Anthony reportedly committed the crime while he was teaching the girl identified as Bimpe (not real name) when her parents were not around. It was learnt that the victim narrated what happened to her mother when she returned home and the case was reported at the Tolu Police Station. The Imo State police command has arrested a man and his wife, Goodluck Ogbuji, 28 and Benita Ogbuji, 26 for allegedly inflicting severe wounds on their eight years old son for buying N100 worth of Akara (bean cake), instead of N50 in Umudagu Mbieri, Imo State.  Folllwing the Imo State police command, they had carry out the arrest after been led by two journalists, Chidiebube Okeoma and Harriet Ijeomo to the couple’s residence at Umudagu Mbieri in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state. The arrest of the couple was sequel to a social media post which showed pictures of the severe wounds inflicted on Wisdom. Journalists who took couples of  pictures of the wounds inflicted on the little boy upon arrival at the residence. A 17-year-old boy got arrested for planning to stage a kidnapping of a 75-year-old man using his father's phone

The Abia state police command has arrested a 17-year-old boy who is identified as Jessy Enogwe for planning to stage a kidnapping of a 75-year-old man in his community. The indigene of Egbede Osisioma Ngwa LGA of Abia State who was arrested on July 21 had used his father's phone to send out threat messages to his victim, asking him to bring him the sum of N50,000 to a certain location or risk being kidnapped and paying the sum of N2m as ransom.  It was further learnt that the septuagenarian has notified SARS operatives of the threat text right before fleeing the village out of fear. Enogwe was subsequently arrested after the report was made.
