Phone Snatchers Who Macheted A Lady Two Days Ago Have Been Caught After Community Youths Set Trap

If you will recalled that some days ago we reported how a lady became a victim of phone snatchers, attacked and in the process she sustained a machete injuries to her head. After the community youths visited the lady in the hospital where she was receiving treatment and questions were asked inorder to gather information on how they operated; they were able to come up with a sustainable plans to get those criminals to book. At the right timing they set a trap for them, that we won't be able to go into details as for security reasons. They came as usual and they were apprehended together with the okada they used to operate at that wee hours of the night. According to information it was at 11:45pm when the three of them were caught after they tried to fled when they noticed it was a trap. Viral Video of South African Slay Queen dancing for Nigerian men in Cape Town

South Africans have taken to micro-blogging platform twitter with the hashtag #NigeriaMustFall. First it was Xenophobic attacks then draggings and fights on social media and now, South Africans have decided to shenk Nigerians again, with the hashtag #NigeriaMustFall. The trend began after a video surfaced online of a South African lady tw£rking hardly for some Nigerian men. In the video that has saturated the South African social media space, the lady could be seen strip teasing for a group of Nigerian men living in Cape Town. The group was having some sort of gyration in their spacious living room and could be heard communicating in the Yoruba Language. As the video went viral, reports filled the air that the lady was drugged by the men in the video and was doing all she did out of her will and under influence. 23 Years man arrested for defiling 3-year-old girl in Ogun (Photo)

Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly defiling one of his neighbours' three-year-old child.  The suspect who is identified has Badmus Quadri, was arrested on Thursday, June 11,  following a complaint by the mother of the victim who reported the shocking incident at Owode Egbado police station.  The victim's mother told police that she saw blood in the private side of her daughter when she returned back from the market. While interrogating her daughter, the little girl revealed that it was Quadri who took her into his room and had carnal knowledge of her. Lady suffers severe burns after her neighbour poured boiling water on her

A little girl took to her Facebook to show the extent of the damage done to her skin after her neighbour poured boiling water on her skin during a disagreement.   Chizzy Winky(victim) explained that her neighbour beat up her younger brother after accusing him of dropping dirt in front of her shop. Chizzy said her mum confronted the woman for beating her son and that led to a quarrel between both women.   It was When Chizzy intervened, she said the neighbour bathed her with hot water.   The police later get involved and they arrested both the neighbour and Chizzy's mum for fighting.    However, Chizzy decided to take laws into her hands after the neighbour taunted her and told her that she should have defaced her by pouring the water on her face.   Chizzy said she as well boiled water and retaliated by bathing the neighbour with it.   Chizzy is now also in trouble with the law after retaliation.   Read her account of the incident as written on Facebook below.   My neighbor poured me

16-year-old girl who killed her father's friend when he allegedly tried to rape her was freed by the court

The Yaba Magistrates’ Court in Lagos has at today freed a 16-year-old girl, Timilehin Taiwo, who was charged for the murder of a 51-year-old man Babatunde Ishola who allegedly tried to rape her.   In a previous shared story of how Timilehin stabbed Babatunde, a security guard, to death at the Aboru area of the state on Saturday, March 7th.   Timilehin in her own statement to the police, said that the deceased who is her father’s friend, invited her to his house to assist him in fetching water as he lived alone and that she had always been helping him with house chores. She stated that on the day of the incident, while she was helping the deceased, he attempted to rape her. According to her in an attempt to defend herself, she picked up a knife and stabbed him, leading to his death.   The police later charged Timilehin to court for murdering the deceased.   At the hearing of the case today, Magistrate Philip Adebowale Ojo struck out the murder charge filed by the police against Timilehi

A suspect linked to the death of Uwaila Omozuma has been arrested by the Edo policemen (video)

A suspect that was linked to the rape and murder of Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa has been arrested by police officers attached to the Edo state police command.  According to earlier reports flying over the social media and some online news platform it could be recalled that the 22-year-old 100-level student of the University of Benin, Edo State was raped and killed while reading in a church in Benin city. The Spokesman for the Edo police command, "Chidi Nwabuzor" has confirmed the arrest while interacting with some newsmen. He said the suspect was arrested after the deceased was rushed to the hospital and after forensic revealed fingerprint on the fire extinguisher which she was attacked with.   "Nwabuzor" also revealed that the suspect was apprehended after the Area Commander of "Ikpoba Hill" ordered his men to take action.  Here is the video below;  Suspect Arrested Have something to say? Great News: FG lifts ban on religious gathering

The federal government on Monday June 1, lifted the ban on religious gatherings across the country.  Chairman of the presidential task force on COVID-19 and secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha made the announcement during the daily briefing of the task force today.   Mustapha said relaxation of restriction on places of worship is based on guidelines issued by the PTF and protocols agreed by state governments. However gathering of more than 20 persons remains prohibited outside of work places and in religious services.  He said;  “The PTF submitted its recommendations and the PRESIDENT has approved the following for implementation over the next four weeks spanning 2nd – 29th June, 2020, subject to review.  “Cautious advance into the Second Phase of the national response to COVID-19; application of science and data to guide the targeting of areas of on-going high transmission of COVID-19 in the country.  “Mobilisation of all resources at State and Local Governmen

Reaction trails the rape and murder of Uwa Omozuma on social media

The r--pe and murder of the UNIBEN undergraduate student, Uwa Vera Omozuwa, has angered many right-thinking person, however, few people have shared some shocking comments in reaction to the last week assault that led to the death of the undergraduate student.   22-year-old Uwa Omozuwa, according to the report had went to read in a church when she was attacked. Some men took to Facebook to reacted to the news of her death by blaming her for going to read in church.   Some guys went as far as defending rapists and claiming that women enjoy raping even when they are crying. While some advised women to "cooperate" with their rapists to avoid getting killed. One Emmanuel thinks this way; "Why did she decided to go to church to read, what happened to the classes or the lodge she lives in... She's the cause of it.."   Below are a few reactions.

We cannot bow to the idol called Coronavirus'’ Pastor Chris Okotie rejects CAN's new guidelines for re-opening of churches

Pastor Chris Okotie, the Senior Pastor of the Household of God Church, has rejected the new guidelines issued by the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, for the reopening of churches.   As at Thursday, May 28, the president of CAN, Reverend Samson Ayokunle, released as released a statement, saying the government had given the Christian Association the go-ahead to draw up guidelines for worship in compliance with the PANDEMIC containment requirements and submit it for approval.
