A video that is making round on social media has shown the moment some angry people beats up a lady whom they accused of stealing. The Lady was allegedly caught stealing in a shop she previously stole from in Warri (video) According to the video, the lady could be heard crying and weeping seriously, while some people in the background kept asking her why she has refused to put an end to her notorious act. The News of the 100-level Microbiology student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Uwaila Omozuwa has been confirmed dead after being raped and beaten inside her local church.   The 22-year-old student who goes to read everyday at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Edo Province 10, Ikpoba Hill, Benin, was attacked with a fire extinguisher by unknown men on Wednesday, May 27.    A family source said Uwaila died on Saturday midnight at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) where she was rushed to after the attack.    He said;   “The church’s security officer had gone to collect the keys to the church from its keeper when he was told that there was someone in the church already. Traders of the Olaleye market in Somolu, Lagos state, are at the moment counting their losses following a massive fire that broke out in the market in the early hours of today, May 30. According to the reports gathered, the fire outbreak started at sometimes around 3am. The cause of the fire is yet unknown. Some residents who lived around the Somolu market together with some people whose stores is in the market had spoke to a correspondence about how the fire has started at a wee hours when everyone is at sleep. A woman who spoke to a reporter after begging for anonymous; said the fire started at a store and started burning till it moved to other stores beside it and people started coming out at that very hour and some who has the number of the firefighters started making calls. A man identified as Peter Ogbonna, inflicted severe machete wounds on his twin brother, Paul, during a fight in Ndimoko Arondizuogu, Imo State on Monday, May 25, 2020. Problem reportedly started after Paul allegedly flogged the son of Peter’s girlfriend, who had come to their house to check up on his mom. It’s alleged that Paul is not in support of his twin brother’s affair with the lady who is said to be a mother-of-five. However, when Peter got wind of the incident, he picked up a sharp cutlass and went to confront his twin brother. Their argument quickly degenerated into a fight which saw Paul being brutally butchered. The victim was subsequently rushed to the Accident and Emergency ward of the Federal Medical Center, Owerri, where his limbs were amputated to save his life. The Lagos state police command have released photos of the police officers accused of killing 17-year-old Tina Ezekwe in the Iyana-Oworo area of the state. Read the  initial report here . The Controversial Ghanaian Pastor and founder of International God’s Way Church,  Bishop Daniel Obinim  is reportedly still in police custody after failing to meet his bail requirements. The Pastor thst was arrested somesome  ago for publication of false news and forgery of a document contrary to sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and other offences Act, 1960 (Act 29) respectively. He was immediately arraigned before a Magistrate court in Accra and which he granted him a ¢100,000 bail with three sureties (one person to be justified). Head of Public Affairs of the CID DSP Juliana Obeng however told Joy News on Wednesday May 20, that Bishop Obinim is still in their custody after failing to meet his bail requirements.   Upon perfecting his bail conditions, Bishop Obinim is expected to appear in court on June 1 while investigations into other offences leveled against him continue.
